May 16, 2023 - Hospital and Library Elections

Hospital, and Library Districts will have their board of trustee elections on May 16th. We will be posting additional candidate information as it becomes available.

Special Voting Information for may 16th Election Boundary County

It’s especially important to check your eligibility for the May 16th election because this election applies only to some Boundary County Residents. This election is for Library Zones 3 and 5 and for the Bonners Ferry city local option tax. If you’re not sure you can vote in these elections, call the County Clerk’s office 208-267- 2242 and they can look you up in the system

You can check online to make sure you are registered, to update your information, to request an absentee ballot, and to find your polling place. You can do this online at VoteIdaho.gov or call the County Clerk’s Office at 208-267-2242 for more information.

Polls will be open 8 AM to 8PM on May 16. Voters will be going to their normal election day polling site. The exception is that Copeland and Moyie Springs will not be used as there are no eligible voters at those sites.

Early/absentee voting:  April 19-May 12 from 9 to 5.  Vote May 16th 8 to 8.

NIVS will be covering Bonner and Boundary Counties and Legislative District One.

Idaho Legislators are elected every two years (both the senate seat and the house seats). Various county positions alternate for elections.
